A Pig Of A Life Campaign

Pigs are intelligent, inquisitive and sociable animals. Yet every year, millions endure a life of suffering in factory farms. Piglets are confined indoors in crowded, barren pens, their teeth clipped and tails docked, usually without anaesthetic. Pregnant sows are kept in cages so small they can't even turn around.

Sadly, these conditions are typical of intensive pig farming today. 1.3 billion pigs are slaughtered each year for food and the majority are kept in intensive conditions which cause suffering and distress. CIWF believe that pigs deserve better.
